• Water resource management authority

The hydro geological survey report is based on the findings observed while carrying out survey, it contains the following:

• Recommended depth and exact point of drilling
• Location map sheet, elevation and hydro geological and geophysics of the area

2. Application for authorization to drill (Permit). Obtained from water resources management authority through their regional offices.

3. Drilling: Borehole drilling is done then test pumping follows. Various important borehole data is collected. Samples of water are collected and taken to a government chemist for analysis, for both bacteriological and chemical analysis.

4.Borehole Equipping: Borehole equipping is then carried out where the pump is installed with all the accompanying accessories.Borehole equipping costs are determined after test pumping is done.This is because the pump has to be sized using the test pumping data obtained and the customer requirements.
